1. How long does it take to learn a musical instrument?
A. Learning an instrument is like learning a new language. It takes patience and effort to learn. However, this process can be made quick and easy with simple tips and essential guidance provided through personal training by our professional music trainer.
2. I have never studied music before and have no previous experience in music training. Is it still possible for me to learn how to play an instrument?
A. Yes, of course it is possible to learn to play an instrument even without prior knowledge. Our beginners course will teach you everything you need to know from scratch. You will learn all the basic music essentials, including how to hold your instrument (for the guitar), how to tune your instrument, care tips and much more.
3. I have no idea about music as a subject, but I would love to learn to play an instrument, is it possible for me to learn at this stage?
A. It is not necessary for you to have prior musical knowledge to qualify to learn to play an instrument. Our beginners course will teach you everything you need to know from scratch. You will learn all the basic music essentials, and as you progress, you will continue to advance through the course.
4. How effective is personal training? Why do I need it?
A. Personal training allows a one on one interaction between the student and teacher. This helps students progress faster with the 100% attention that they receive. This also allows the instructor to analyze the student personally and train him or her with more precision. Personal training eliminates unnecessary factors that can hinder the progress of a student, such as, distractions and excessive noise caused by other students in a class. This is a stepping stone that promotes customized music classes for every student individually.
5. What are customized music classes?
A. Customized music classes are taylor made classes designed to suit every student individually. Every student has various reasons for learning an instrument. They also have diverse music choices. To cater to the requirements of each student individually we create a custom course for every student.
The custom classes allows students to learn exactly what they really want to learn. This allows the instructor to adapt each class to the students music choice and interest.
6. Are there any advanced training courses offered for students with a background in music?
A. Yes, there are advanced training courses offered. The advanced course is customized on the basis of the knowledge that the student already possesses. Our music instructor assess the advancement level of the student and then recommends the next course of action in advanced learning for best results.
7. How many classes are provided during the week?
A. There are two schedule options,
Regular schedule: Each student receives 2 personal training classes per week. In addition, they also receive assignments to practice during the other days of the week.
Custom schedule: This is the most preferred schedule option among most students as it allows students to combine the time frame of both classes in the week of the 'Regular schedule' and take it at a stretch on a single day during the week. Students also receive assignments to practice during the other days of the week. The advantage of this schedule is that you save time and it makes attending class easy and you still benefit from all the classes provided in the 'Regular schedule'. This schedule is ideal for working professionals and school going students with busy schedules.
8. I dont have a lot of time to attend classes twice a week, is there a solution that can be recommended for my situation?
A. Yes, there is. It is called the 'Custom schedule'. For working professionals, students with busy schedules and others with time constraints who want to learn an instrument we have created a user friendly time schedule. Our flexible schedules allow students to combine both classes in the week and take it at a stretch on 1 day of his choice during the week, including weekends.
ou can be rest assured that you will get assignments to practice on a daily basis. However, you don't need to worry, these assignments are not burdensome. It is given on the basis of the progress level and capability of the student. We understand that your daily life is demanding as it is and are considerate yet ambitious with our assignments.
9. What are the standard schedules for music class? Which time slot can I join?
A. We give you the freedom of choosing your own time slot and day that you would like to have classes from the available time slots. All you have to do is book the time slot of your preference with your instructor and enjoy your classes at your convenience.
10. Do you provide transportation?
A. We go the extra mile to offer you a better solution for your transportation needs. We offer you 2 choices - One that allows you to avail of LIVE online training sessions, OR the other allows you to choose personal door to door music lessons. Yes, our instructor will visit you at your very home and conduct music classes at your place of convenience. This saves you the effort of travelling, eliminates road risks, and most of all saves you a lot of travel time.
11. Am I too old to learn to play music?
A. This is a common misconception. Music has no age barriers. Its not ideal for kids only. It is certainly meant for everyone who has a passion to learn it. Age has no impact on your learning and shouldnt restrict you. It's never too late to start learning an instrument. As the saying goes, its better late than never.
If you are concerned about being the only adult in your class, you have nothing to worry about. Remember, you can choose to have 100% personal classes with your personal instructor. We have plenty of adults enjoying this service to their benefit.
12. What is power learning?
A. Power learning is a technique that is utilized to teach our students in the most effective and product manner in the least time possible. This method of teaching owes its presence to personal music training with customized courses which focuses on each student individually.
13. What does learning music comprise of? I already know music notations, is there anything else that I should know?
A. There is more to learning music than just music notation. Music is all about audio. However, in the modern world the focus of learning music has seemed to have shifted to visual learning only, through musical notation. While music notation is important for a musician, a complete musician should be able to pick up music just by listening to songs. This involves a trained sense of listening. Our professional training will help you acquire this skill and equip you to reach a superior advancement level to become a complete musician.
As you study music in a professional manner, you will see that there are many other key elements of music to be learnt, such as, practical exercises, scales, derivation of scales and other music formulas.
Remember, you are true musician only if you have the capability of composing meaningful and melodious music on your own, and not simply copying the songs of other musicians. The key to music composure is thorough understanding of music basics and practical application of music.
